Blue Peter Books

Blue Peter first hit our screens in 1958 and has been running ever since. In 1964 a book was issued about the show, highlighting items from the program and with plenty of items for children to make things. Since then there have been a  books most years plus some specials such as the Green book issued in 1990. It has been rumoured that book 28 had been recalled following the sacking of Richard Bacon, although copies where on sale locally.

Old issues are easy to find at very low prices, so it is still possible to put together a nice collection. I currently have 19 of the issues, some are shown below.
